Lencten (렝크텐) is the fasting month of Sabato’ Israet. It’s designed for the Earthly Virtues Sunny, Yuri, Seohyun, Tiffany, Taeyeon, Jessica, Hyoyeon, Yoona and Sooyoung to focus on the anomalies of God instead of Dies/SNSD work.
Lenctentide refers to the final 35 days of not just Israet (from November 4, 2007 to September 27, 2014), but also Greater Israet (from the ancient Lesser Gyeongju Covenant in 471 BC to September 27, 2014). Lencten was one of the goals of the Earthly Virtues. All activities of Dies/SNSD and certain amorphs were needed to keep the Earthly Virtues stable and intact over a period of 7 Prophetic Years.
Lencten ultimately derives from Lent. Lent is a solemn religious observance in the Christian liturgical calendar that begins on Ash Wednesday (presented by August 13, 2014 in Lencten) and ends approximately six weeks later, the night before Easter Sunday. The purpose of Lent is the preparation of the believer for Easter through prayer, doing penance, mortifying the flesh, repentance of trespasses, almsgiving, and self-denial. This season is observed in the Anglican, Eastern Orthodox, Lutheran, Methodist, Moravian, Oriental Orthodox, Reformed (including Presbyterian), and Roman Catholic Churches.[1][2][3] Some Anabaptist and evangelical churches also observe Lent. Most members of the Earthly Virtues are Christian (members Yoona and Sooyoung are absolutely in Jesus Christ), a requirement of the Lenctentide.
